I’m honoured to share a bit about myself and what drives me in building this world of inspiring resources for junk journaling and beyond.

In 1990, I left the British Army and began building a life with a family, finding work, and moving forward. However, in 2007, my world came crashing down. I lost everything and experienced homelessness, a period that brought deep challenges but also shaped my perspective on resilience and creativity.

Between 2010 and the present I tried moving on. I met a wonderful lady, Daciana, and together we set up home here in the UK. Its not been easy for any of us, but we have pulled each other up from the dirt many times, brushed ourselves off, and continued on our journey together. We now have what we call ‘our kids,’ by that I mean we have 4 cats, Cocoa, Milo, Frankie, and Minnie. When they are ‘on one’ they are literally like kids, spoilt brats who are as disruptive as they are cute and cuddly! But we wouldn’t have them any other way. They are also good at sensing somethings not right with ‘their human’ and will come by, purr, and look at me as if to say, “its ok, we have your back.”

Around 2022 I discovered art, especially through junk journaling. This became a lifeline, a way for me to rid my head of those vindictive voices, albeit for a few hours while I created junk journal pages. Junk journaling offered me the freedom to heal, create, and eventually share my journey with others through the work I now produce here.

The Magic of AI in Art

Every piece I create is powered by Artificial Intelligence, which allows me to explore endless styles, motifs, and textures. I use AI not only to craft original artwork but to push the boundaries of digital creation, blending organic elements with imaginative digital design. With AI as my tool, I can explore historical art forms, vintage styles, and intricate details that add a touch of magic to every piece. AI gives me a sense of freedom to create without limits, translating a vision into something tangible and beautifully unique. It allows me to share my love for eclectic art with you in a way that is always fresh, innovative, and full of possibilities.

What You'll Find at Junk Journal World

At Junk Journal World, my goal is to provide a wide range of materials to inspire your creativity.
